Riley Ray Fasbender, 66, from Mesa, AZ and formerly from Auburn, passed away peacefully at his home on May 13, 2026.
He was born in Carroll on April 15, 1960, to Edward and Evelyn (Sanders) Fasbender. Riley grew up and graduated from Lake View-Auburn High School in 1978.
On September 3, 1982, he married Deanna Kokenge at Holy Spirit Church in Carroll. He enjoyed playing golf, softball, and watching WWE wrestling during his free time.
Riley is survived by his wife Deanna; his daughter Megan (Mario) Alvarado of San Tan Valley, AZ, and son Andrew Fasbender and fiancée Nadine Aldrete of Mesa; three grandchildren – Jacob and Hensley Alvarado and Bentley Fasbender; brother Don (Shirley) Fasbender of St. Louis, MO; and sister-in-law Pat Fasbender of Carroll. Riley was preceded in death by his parents; brother Edward “Butch” Fasbender; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Lawrence and Florence Kokenge; and other extended relatives.
