Autumn fun comes to the Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) Carroll Campus tomorrow (Saturday) as the newly reformed Student Activities Council hosts its Fall Fest. The event begins at 9 a.m. in the DMACC parking lot and runs until 11 a.m. Activities include pumpkin painting for the first 100 children and fall-themed attractions. All ages are invited, but keep in mind the games and prizes are catered toward kids in preschool through fourth grade. The council will also have snacks and hot drinks available for free-will donations via cash or Venmo, and proceeds from the sales will be added to the DMACC Carroll Campus lung cancer awareness fundraiser in November. Saturday’s event marks the revival of the student group at the Carroll campus, which had no members for the past two years, and its members say to expect more programs like the Fall Fest in the future. Again, the DMACC Carroll Campus Student Activities Council Fall Fest is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday), in the DMACC parking lot.
