A Carroll man remains in custody on no bond for violation of his parole of theft charges after allegedly stealing lottery tickets from his place of employment. According to Carroll County District Court records, 36-year-old Cody Jonathan Wolfe was arrested last Saturday on a warrant for a parole violation for an incident that occurred on June 15. Authorities believe Wolf stole and redeemed $750 worth of unpaid lottery tickets while working at a gas station. At the time of the incident, Wolfe was on parole after violating his probation of a second-degree theft charge in 2022, after being caught voiding customer’s transactions and take the money for personal profit. Wolfe faces one count lottery theft, a class D felony, third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor, and violation of parole. If convicted, Wolfe can face a maximum sentence of up to 7 years in prison and over $18,000 in fines, on top of his original sentence for the previous convictions.
