Four Men Now Charged In Connection To November Vehicle Burglary In Carroll

Four people have now been charged in connection to a November motor vehicle burglary in Carroll. According to trial information filed today (Tuesday) in District Court for Carroll County, 19-year-old Charles James Rowland and 22-year-old Devin Christian Morrison, both of Carroll, each face one count of third-degree burglary, an aggravated misdemeanor. Two other individuals, 19-year-old Dalton Lee Andrew Maples and 18-year-old Austin Lee Wheeler, also of Carroll, were arrested earlier this month on the same charge following a Carroll Police Department investigation into the Nov. 5 incident. Authorities say the four men stole items from a 1992 Chevrolet pickup parked in the 100 block of North Clark Street and damaged a storage box located in the back of the truck. Their arraignment hearings have been scheduled for Jan. 14. They each face a maximum penalty of up to two years in prison and $6,250 in fines if found guilty of the charges.
