An alleged felon wanted out of Illinois was arrested yesterday (Thursday) in Carroll on an outstanding out-of-state warrant. According to the Carroll Police Department, 35-year-old Tremayne Donta Cherry of Joliet, Ill., was taken into custody in the 800 block of N. Cherry has a long history of run-ins with the law. In Iowa alone, he has been convicted of theft, failure to appear, and drug charges since 2015.
