In honor of Jefferson Matters being granted the 2025 Great American Main Street Award (GAMSA), Jefferson Mayor, Craig Berry, has proclaimed Friday, May 9 as GAMSA Celebration Day. This award shows all the dedication to the community and businesses, the dreams to promote vitality of Jefferson’s downtown and the community spirit that helped to make this all possible. To celebrate the national recognition, Jefferson Matters is hosting the GAMSA Street Party tomorrow (Friday) night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to celebrate in the downtown district with games, inflatables, food trucks and live music by The Shuffle Couple.
