No injuries and functional damage was reported in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Carroll. Officers with the Carroll Police Department responded to the scene at the intersection of 7th and Main Streets at approximately 2:22 p.m. Forty-six-year-old Raul Pantoja of Carroll was southbound on Main in a 2012 Ford Fusion. Seventy-six-year-old Vickie Bender, also of Carroll, was eastbound on 7th in a 2016 Dodge Caravan. Bender told authorities she did not see the Pantoja vehicle and entered the intersection, at which time her van was struck in the rear driver’s side. Bender was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
