Carroll County Treasurer, Jean Seidl, has announced their offices will be closed all day on Wednesday, Oct. 2 to allow staff to attend the Department of Transportation’s (DOT’s) annual statewide conference in Des Moines. None of the services offered, including those for the driver’s license station, will be available on that day. The office will return to normal business hours on Thursday, Oct. 3, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for motor vehicle registrations and property taxes and 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for driver’s licenses. Seidl is asking all county residents to plan their business with the treasurer’s office or the driver’s license station accordingly.
