Formal charges have been filed in District Court for Carroll County against a Colorado man accused of drug trafficking. The charges stem from a traffic stop on Aug. 17 on Highway 30 in Carroll. During the stop, a Carroll County Sheriff’s Office deputy could see marijuana in plain sight in the center console. After obtaining a search warrant for the vehicle, the deputy located a 2.5-gallon baggie full of marijuana and a container with various pills inside.
