The Carroll Police Department responded to two separate motor vehicle accidents Monday. The first accident occurred at approximately 10:08 a.m. at the intersection of Carroll and 3rd Streets. According to an initial investigation, 74-year-old Kenneth Testroet of Auburn was traveling southbound on Carroll Street in 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. A westbound 2003 Mack truck, driven by 59-year-old Larry Bruggeman of Glidden, failed to stop for a posted stop sign and struck the driver’s side of the Testroet truck. Functional damage was reported to both vehicles and Testroet was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services for suspected minor injuries. Bruggeman was cited for failure to obey a stop sign. The second accident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of 13th and N. West Streets.
