Tickets are now on sale for the Carroll Chamber of Commerce 2020 Annual Banquet titled “A Night Full of Stars.” The Monday, Jan. 27 event will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. followed by a program at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom at the Carrollton Centre. Tickets are $30 for an individual or $250 for a table of eight. The evening is a celebration of the outstanding achievements of the community, its businesses and its citizens. Awards will be presented and include: Humanitarian of the Year; Public Service; Good Neighbor of the Year; Citizen of the Year; as well as the New Business of the Year and Heritage Business of 2019. The Carroll Young Professionals will also be recognizing their Young Professional of the Year. Nominations are being accepted in each of these award categories now through Monday, Dec. 16. Last year’s winners include Ed Smith who was named the 2018 Citizen of the Year, Serendipity Acting Studio named New Business of the Year, Neu, Minnich, Comito, Halbur, Neu and Badding Law Firm received the Heritage Business Award and Jacob Fiscus with Fiscus Photography was presented the Young Professional of the Year Award.
