Both vehicles were disabled, but no one was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Carroll on Saturday. The Carroll Police Department was called to the scene at 10th and N. West Streets at approximately 10:57 a.m. A 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 22-year-old Benjamin Vonnahme of Arcadia, was westbound on 10th. Vonnahme failed to yield from a stop sign and struck a 2013 Ford Explorer, driven by 34-year-old Melissa Nava of Carroll, who was northbound on West Street. Vonnahme was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
