Residents Can Meet With Senator Joni Ernst Staffers In Coming Weeks

Regional Directors with U.S. Senator Joni Ernst’s office will be traveling the state, holding office hours in all 99 counties in the coming weeks. The directors will be able to meet with Iowans and answer any questions related to issues such as Social Security, veterans’ benefits, military affairs, passports, immigration issues and other federal programs. The first area office hours are scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 14 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Audubon Public Library. The next day (Wednesday, Aug. 15), the directors will be on hand at the Denison Norelius Community Library from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then at the Manning Public Library from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 21 will be the next time the staff members are in the region and they will be at the Guthrie County Courthouse meeting room from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and then at the  Greene County Courthouse board room from noon until 1 p.m. Then the next week, on Tuesday, Aug. 28, they will be at the Lake City Public Library from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Senator Ernst will not be present during the stated office hours.
