The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident Monday morning near Glidden where icy conditions played a factor. At approximately 9:16 a.m., 70-year-old Wendy Kay Mount, of Scranton, was traveling west on Treasure Road near the intersection of 130th Street in a 2004 Chrysler Town and Country when slick conditions caused the vehicle to lose traction. The van slid into the north ditch where it came to a rest. Damage to the vehicle is estimated at $2,500. No injuries were reported in the accident.
