The Sac County Engineer’s Office announced a section of Cory Avenue will close beginning Monday, May 4, for bridge repair work. The closure will affect the approximately half-mile stretch between Iowa Highway 175 and 330th Street. The road is expected to remain closed for around three weeks, weather dependent, while crews repair bridge abutments in the area. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes during the closure and to remain cautious when traveling near construction zones.
