The City of Carroll’s 12th Street reconstruction project gets underway in earnest, and traffic will be impacted in that section of town in some capacity for the summer. The closures begin Monday morning between Clark Street and Grant Road for the first phase of construction. Work includes sidewalk removal and replacement, a box culvert replacement, and new underground infrastructure for city utilities. This first phase is projected to last through at least June 13. Work will progress westward throughout the summer and fall, with an end date of Nov. 2, weather dependent.
