Tomorrow (Saturday) is the celebration of the 41st annual Kuemper Ball at the Kuemper Fieldhouse, marking the largest fundraising event of the year for the parochial school. Dr. Julie Perkins is one of this year’s Ball Chairs and says the theme off of last year’s theme, “The Legacy Continues.”
Perkins says she is so honored to be selected as one of the four couples chosen to help make this year’s Kuemper Ball a great night.
The event kicks off on Saturday, May 3rd, with dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. by Lidderdale Country Store and sweet treats made by Beans Bakery. The program begins at 7 p.m. with the announcement of the winner of the popular ag and vehicle raffles, which Perkins thanks the sponsors who continue to make that event possible year after year.
The live auction, the Ball Blitz and live music from Mighty Mayhem will be the rest of the evening’s entertainment. All money raised from the auctions, blitz, donations, and raffle tickets will be used to support Kuemper Catholic in a variety of ways.
Perkins says meal and raffle tickets are still available and encourages everyone to get theirs purchased.
