Carroll County Public Health will be holding a COVID vaccination clinic tomorrow (Friday) from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at their offices, located in the St. Anthony Regional Hospital, on the second floor across from the cafeteria. All three vaccines, Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson and Johnson, will be available. Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 booster shots are available for those who received their Pfizer series at least six months ago and are 65 and older and/or residents in a long-term care setting, those who are 18 to 64 who have underlying health conditions or are at increased risk for COVID exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional settings. Again, these recommendations are ONLY for those who have received a primary Pfizer series six months ago or more. Booster doses may be recommended in the future for those who received the Moderna or Johnson and Johnson vaccines. Appointments for preferred boost doses can be made by calling 712-794-5408.
