Girls Track Results for April 30th, 2021
Kuemper, Paton Churdan, Ar-We-Va, and East Sac and South Central Calhoun at Ross Samuelson Co-Ed Meet
Kuemper, Paton Churdan, Ar-We-Va, East Sac, and South Central Calhoun girls track teams were all in action Friday at the 2021 Ross Samuelson Co-Ed track meet. Kuemper finished in fourth place in the team rankings with 59 team points. East Sac finished in sixth place with 46 team points, followed by South Central Calhoun in seventh with 39 points, then Ar-We-Va in eighth with 32 points, and finally Paton Churdan in ninth with 20 points. Each team was able to bring home at least a top two finish in an event.
Grace C Hoffman of Kuemper was able to win the 400 meter hurdles event with a time of 1:11.99. She was part of two other relays that finished in the top two. Kuemper’s 4X200 Relay, consisting of Hoffman, Megan Scott, Kerrigan Irlbeck, and Macy Blum, finished in second with a time of 1:53.25. Those same teammates participated in the Sprint Medley Relay and got second place with a time of 2:00.21.

East Sac saw their Distance Medley Relay team, consisting of Hannah Pudenz, Brooke Jergens, Mary Bontrager, and Emma Schroeder, win the event with a time of 4:48.75. Schroeder and Bontrager joined Jen Aschinger and Meredith Brown in the 4X400 event where they finished in second place with a time of 4:36.16.
South Central Calhoun saw some top three finishes at this meet, with Jade Ridgely doing well individually. Ridgely finished the 200 meter dash in second place with a time of 27.93.
Ar-We-Va saw some top five finishes on the day, with their Shuttle Hurdle team competing well. Consisting of Maggie Ragaller, Elizabeth Brunner, Kora Obrecht, and Jamie Hausman, the shuttle hurdle team got second place with a time of 1:12.29.
Paton Churdan’s Danielle Hoyle finished top two in the throwing events. She won the discus event with a throw of 103-01 and got second place in the shot put event with a throw of 37-06.00.
