Disabling damage was reported following a two-vehicle accident in Carroll late Friday morning. The Carroll Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of 7th and Adams Streets at approximately 11:36 a.m. Their initial investigation revealed 80-year-old Margaret Liautaud of Carroll was traveling eastbound on 7th Street in a 2011 Dodge Journey and failed to yield for a southbound 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by 38-year-old Chad Grossman of Halbur. The Dodge collided with the passenger side of the Grossman truck, resulting in significant damage to the Liautaud vehicle. She was cited for failure to obey a stop sign.
