The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has released official details following an investigation into an April 22 ATV accident in Halbur. At approximately 7:50 p.m., 32-year-old Melinda Sue Turner of Carroll was operating a 2017 Polaris RZR in the front yard of a residence in the 16000 block of 245th Street. Authorities report Turner lost control while rounding a corner, rolling the vehicle before it came to rest on its wheels. Turner was ejected and landed underneath the RZR. She was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services with incapacitating injuries. A seven-year-old male passenger was also transported to the hospital with possible injuries.
