The City of Lake City has issued a boil order for a specific section of the community following a water mean break on Friday morning. Businesses and residents impacted include those on East Main Street, from Hancock Street to the east; the 100 blocks of North Hancock, north Central and Dewey Streets; Circle Drive; and the 700, 800 and 900 blocks of East Washington Street. Water should be boiled at least one minute or an alternative source used for drinking, food and ice preparation. The water is safe for bathing.
