One Carroll business is expanding and, literally, going to the dogs. Adam Schweers, a principal with Court Street LLC, has announced that the local investment and redevelopment group has purchased The Dog Spaw and Poochie’s Play House. The two businesses are natural compliments and will be combined into one entity. The only difference customers will notice, is a change of location for Poochie’s Play House. Former owner of the Dog Spaw, Sara Anderson, and her staff will continue to provide grooming and all other services and Nicolle Goecke with Poochie’s Playhouse will provide dog day care, boarding and training services. All of these, however, will now be offered in a single location, at the Dog Spaw at 702 Monterey Drive.
