Mass of Christian Burial for 93 year old Joe P. Riesberg of Griswald, formerly of Carroll will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Griswold. Visitation with the family will take place at the church prior to the Mass from 9 to 9:30 a.m., followed by a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Burial, with military honors by the Atlantic Color Guard, will be in the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery. Joe Riesberg is survived by his wife: Karen of Griswald…his children: Fran (Darrell) Tulley of California, Elaine (Larry) Garaghty of Minnesota, Nancy (John) Skoumal of West Des Moines, Jane Gretteman of Carroll, Mary Brown of Glidden, Mark Riesberg of Lytton, and Abby (Jon) De Jong of Atlantic; 16 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Florita Sibbel of Carroll and Margie (John) Sibbel of Manning; brother, Leon (Marlene) Riesberg of Arizona; sisters-in-law, Leona Riesberg and Dorothy Riesberg both of Carroll; and many nieces and nephews.
