Kuemper Catholic Schools’ Lynne Humphrey has been selected to serve as the School Nutrition Association of Iowa (SNA-Iowa) Region 5 Co-Chair. Humphrey has been with Kuemper as their food service director for 21 years and is excited to take her service to children even further. “I have not served in a role like this before, but I am anxious to jump in and learn,” says Humphrey. SNA-Iowa is a non-profit which advocates for nutritious foods for all Iowa students. Region 5 covers the southwest portion of Iowa and includes Carroll, Crawford, Greene, Audubon and Guthrie Counties. She begins her two-year term at the annual SNA-Iowa Conference in Des Moines on June 13. Humphrey tells families, “I have spent my career looking out for students and want all of the kids to grow into happy and healthy adults.”
