Authorities in Rockwell City are requesting voters in the area attempt to avoid voting from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. due to the funeral procession for Urbandale Officer, Justin Martin, on Tuesday, Nov. 8. It is expected that a large number of vehicles and people will be in the area, and travel may be difficult during this period. Voting at the courthouse will still be available at those times, but voting, either before or after, is still encouraged. If still planning on voting early in the afternoon, the Calhoun County Auditor’s Office recommends entering the courthouse through the west entrance.
