Twenty-four-year-old Nicole Lynn Domsch of Glidden was cited for Failure to Maintain Control-reduce speed after a two-vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the intersection of Highway 30 and Colorado Street in Glidden. Forty-two-year-old Randall Gordon Cooper of Ankeny was stopped on Highway 30 in his 2015 Chevrolet Silverado waiting for a semi to turn onto Colorado Street. Domsch did not see that the Cooper vehicle was stopped and she swerved her 2004 Jeep Liberty to avoid a collision, but clipped the rear passenger corner of the truck. There was an estimated $1,000 in damage to the Domsch vehicle and $500 in damage to the Cooper vehicle. No injuries were reported. The Carroll County Sheriff’s office assisted at the scene.
