Individuals from far and wide traveled, braving the hot weather to participate in the first-ever Renaissance Fair in the Carroll area which was hosted by the Carroll Arts Council/Community Theater. From Kings, to fairies and even a witch.. attendees were greeted with activities such as bow and arrow practice, sword demonstrations from the Band of Iron Lions, a play and entertainment from the Norsefyre Traveling Circus Troupe. Members of the CAC/CT say they were super pleased with the turnout, and enjoyed viewed everyone who came in costume to add to the fun. When asked if this would become an annual event, they said they would not be opposed.
