An investigation is ongoing into a single-vehicle accident Saturday in Grand Junction. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at Railroad and 17th Streets at approximately 4:03 p.m. Thirty-four-year-old Michelle Christian of Grand Junction had allegedly backed her 2002 Saturn into a transformer and then left the scene of the accident. There was an estimated $4,000 in damage to the transformer.
