Last week, Carroll Community School District (CCSD) Superintendent, Dr. Casey Berlau, announced they would be adopting the voluntary enrichment program for students. Although students are not required to participate, they are encouraged to take part in the various activities put together by their instructors to remain as sharp and up-to-date as possible and to help ease the transition when classes do eventually resume. The program begins Wednesday, April 15 and is slated to run through April 30 at this point. The district will plan on an extension of the distance learning model in the event Iowa Gov., Kim Reynolds, extends the mandated closure of K-12 schools across the state.
