Carroll Chamber Of Commerce Offers Help To Local Businesses In Building Online Presence Through Shop Iowa

The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is encouraging local businesses to step up their online retail presence by setting up their pages through Shop Iowa, a joint marketplace for the state’s brick-and-mortar retail businesses to sell their products to a broader audience. Shop Iowa is funded through the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) and gives smaller companies the chance to try out internet retail at no cost to them. Each business can list their first 25 products online for free, up to 50 products for $25 per month or 100 for $50 per month. Local businesses can start right away with managing their own online page, or the North Central Iowa Small Business Development Center is offering assistance with on-boarding through their staff at the Carroll Chamber of Commerce. Shop Iowa was created to encourage the state’s small businesses to begin building their online retail presence and remind shoppers to spend locally.
