The Audubon County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information regarding the individual or individuals responsible for a burglary in Exira last week. According to Sheriff, Todd Johnson, the incident occurred on the evening of Friday, Jan. 24. Authorities say a large number of quarters were stolen from machines at the Exira Car Wash. Thousands of dollars in damage to the property has also been reported. Anybody with information about this incident or who may have noted suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office at 712-563-2631 or Audubon County Crime Stoppers at 712-563-2234. A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading an arrest and conviction.
