Whiterock Conservancy Hosting Prominent Speakers Thursday To Discuss Future Of Agriculture

Whiterock Conservancy near Coon Rapids is hosting some of the nation’s most prominent agricultural speakers next week as part of a day-long discussion on the future of ag. Some of the individuals confirmed to speak Thursday, Nov. 14 include President of the Land Institute in Salina, Kan., Fred Iutzi, Director of the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture in Ames, Mark Rasmussen, University of Iowa Professor, Christopher Jones, and Senior Manager of Systems Innovations for the Indigo Agriculture Terraton Initiative in Boston, Mass., Olga Baker. Speakers are scheduled to present for about an hour each with time allocated for questions and discussion after each topic. Registration is $30 per person and includes lunch.
