Slick Roadways Result In At Least One Two-Vehicle Accident In Carroll Friday

The slick roads played a role in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in Carroll. The Carroll Police Department was called to the scene at the intersection of Bluff and Main Streets at approximately 7:54 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a 2015 Ford F150, driven by 36-year-old Jeffrey Vonnahme of Carroll, was traveling North on Main Street, while at the same time a 1997 Buick LeSabre, driven by 40-year-old Michelle Beyer of Coon Rapids, was headed west on Bluff Street. The Beyer vehicle could not come to a stop due to the weather-related road conditions and was struck by the Vonnahme vehicle as she slid through the intersection. No injuries and only minor damages were reported.
