Residents from Sac City and the surrounding area are coming together to honor a man who spent nearly 40 years caring for and healing them through his Sac City medical practice. Dr. Rodney Miller passed away earlier this year, and organizers began working on a memorial celebration and dedication for the public. They will come together on Friday, Nov. 9, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Baily Dixon Community Conference Room at Loring Hospital. The wine and cheese come-and-go will feature a dedication of an etched marble picture of Dr. Miller at 2:30 p.m. Miller resided in Boise, Idaho several years before his death.
