Man Accused Of Stealing More Than $800 From Carroll Store Sentenced To Probation

A Carroll man accused of stealing more than $800 from a downtown Carroll store has been sentenced to serve three years on probation. The ruling against 44-year-old Shedrick Jamar Robinson was filed Thursday in District Court for Carroll County. In addition to the probation, Robinson must pay over $1,800 in fines, legal fees and restitution. Upon successful completion of his probation, he will not be required to serve a five-year suspended prison sentence. The charge stemmed from an incident on Aug. 5, 2017 in which Robinson entered Just Around the Corner and took a bag with $829 from the store’s office.
