A local banker has been elected to serve on the Iowa Bankers Association (IBA) Board of Directors. On Monday, the association announced that Matt Lujano, president and CEO of Westside State Bank in Westside will sit as treasurer. He and the other new leaders assumed their roles during the annual convention, held Sept. 16 through Sept. 18 in Des Moines. The officers were nominated and approved by the IBA member banks across Iowa. The board, which sets policy and oversees the general operation of the association is led by the IBA Executive Committee.
