A Halbur man was uninjured after losing control in windy conditions on Sunday. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office reports that 41-year-old James Lee Walker was westbound on U.S. Highway 30 at approximately 11:17 a.m. when he says the wind caught a trailer he was pulling behind a 2011 GMC Sierra K2500. The trailer then tipped over, sending the vehicle into a skid. There was an estimated $6,500 in damage done to the Walker vehicle and trailer.
