The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident Saturday evening south of Glidden. At approximately 7:32 p.m. a report came in that the driver of a 2005 Pontiac G6, 17-year-old Kelsea Irene Lavassaur of Coon Rapids, had been driving southbound on Timber Avenue. She lost control on the snow-covered roadway, just north of 250th Street, and entered the east ditch. The Pontiac then hit a field drive, overturning the vehicle onto its top. Lavassaur did complain of possible injuries, but was not transported for treatment. There was an estimated $4,500 in damage to the vehicle.
