A death investigation has been initiated after the discovery of a deceased male at a Webster City residence. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has reported that 59-year-old Gregory Allen Pekkala of Webster City was found after a welfare check was requested on Tuesday morning. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation was called in to assist with the investigation. Authorities say there is no reason to believe there is any danger to citizens.
