An Audubon woman has been arrested by the Audubon County Sheriff’s Office for driving a vehicle involved in an accident while under the influence of narcotics. On Tuesday, Jan. 2, 40-year-old Nancy Beth Williams was taken into custody at approximately 8:30 p.m. and charged with first-offense operating while intoxicated—methamphetamine. The charge stems from a Sept. 15, 2017 accident on Highway 71 near the intersection with 130th Street. Williams later posted a $1,000 bond and was released. She is scheduled to appear before a magistrate tomorrow (Thursday) morning.
