Audubon And Guthrie To Be Presented Home Base Iowa Designations Friday

Audubon, Guthrie and Adair Counties have completed the necessary requirements for Home Base Iowa designations, and special ceremonies have been scheduled in each county on Friday, July 6. Gov. Kim Reynolds, Lt. Gov., Adam Gregg, and Iowa Workforce Development Director, Beth Townsend, will be in attendance and local veterans will also be addressing the crowd. These include SFC Lucas Queck in Greenfield, CSM Curtis McClellan in Guthrie Center and Lt. Col. Donald Mosinski in Audubon. The Adair County ceremony will take place first, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the courthouse lawn in Greenfield. The Guthrie County one will follow from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the courthouse lawn in Guthrie Center and then the Audubon event will be held from noon to 12:30 p.m. in the City Park at town Square in Audubon. Gov. Reynolds will be unable to attend the final ceremony in Audubon.
