Sac City Woman Charged With Theft From Howard Center Clients

The Sac City Police Department has made an arrest following an investigation into thefts from clients at a rehabilitation facility in Sac City. According to authorities, more than $2,000 was reported missing on Sept. 15 from two Howard Center resident’s bank accounts. The investigation into the theft led to the arrest of Susan Henson of Sac City. She has been charged with second-degree theft, a class D felony, and third-degree theft, an aggravated misdemeanor. Henson faces up to seven years imprisonment and up to $12,500 in fines if found guilty on both charges. The Howard Center provides residential, vocational and mental health services to over 100 clients in the Sac City area.
