An expert on Iowa attractions is visiting Manning next week to share his knowledge on the state’s points of interest. Dan Kaercher is the retired Editor-in-Chief of Midwest Living magazine, a former Iowa Public Television host and has spent years travelling across the state exploring the state. He is presenting a program titled, “Iowa’s Hidden Treasures” at the Hausbarn Conference Center on Thursday, Jan. 12, a 5:30 p.m. Kaercher will bring fun and informative facts about the best places in Iowa to visit along with a light meal for attendees. If participants arrive early at 5 p.m., some time has been set aside to meet with Kaercher. Iowa’s Hidden Treasures is presented at no cost by the Manning Chamber of Commerce.
