There is absolutely nothing funny about caregiving, but it is entirely too difficult to take it seriously all of the time. This will be the focus of the 2016 Family Caregiver Conference, “Finding Hope, Humor and Heart in Caregiving,” on Wednesday, June 29, in the Bio Health Science Building at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. All caregivers are invited to a presentation by co-founder of CaregiverHelp.com, Elaine K. Sanchez beginning at 11 a.m. Sanchez is author of the book “Letters from Madelyn: Chronicles of a Caregiver,” and will provide an inspiring and informative message featuring real-life stories and strategies for coping with the emotional stress of caregiving.
