The Manning annual kick-off to the Christmas season, Weihnachtsfest, will get underway this Friday evening, beginning with food and activities in the German Village Mall at 4:30 p.m. The busiest man in the world this time of year, Santa, will be making a special appearance and will arrive in style at approximately 5:15 p.m. when his helicopter will land in the former Manning Regional Healthcare Center parking lot at the intersection of Highway 141 and Main Street.
