Celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Terrace Hill! Join us for an Open House, FREE of charge and open to the public, on Tuesday, July 2nd from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Guests are invited to take a self-guided tour through Terrace Hill. No need to check in at the Carriage House…you can go straight to the north door of Terrace Hill! This Open House is being held as part of Terrace Hill’s 150th Anniversary celebration and will take place exactly 41 years after Terrace Hill first opened to the public on July 2, 1978.
Terrace Hill, Iowa Governor’s Residence and National Historic Landmark, is located at 2300 Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. Guided tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 am-1:30 pm.
