Join Iowa’s First Gentleman, Kevin Reynolds, in the beautiful and historic Terrace Hill gardens for a summer evening of food, drinks, tours, and fun!
On August 28th from 5-7pm, we’re throwing a Garden Party at Terrace Hill, Iowa Governor’s Residence and National Historic Landmark. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Terrace Hill Partnership, a non-profit organization that supports necessary conservation and restoration projects for the Terrace Hill building and grounds.
The evening’s garden party-themed reception will include:
• Hors d’oeuvres and desserts prepared by Terrace Hill Chef Sharon VanVerth, featuring garden produce from the Terrace Hill gardens
• Wine & beer
• Croquet games on the Terrace Hill lawn
• Tours of the Terrace Hill residence and gardens

Terrace Hill Governor’s Residence and National Historic Landmark is located at 2300 Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. Guided tours are offered Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 am-1:30 pm. Walk-ins are welcome; reservations are requested for groups larger than 10.
