An event to raise funds for CJD research, in memory of the late Dave Kock of Westside and the late Sharon Thompson and Lisa (Thompson) Neufeld of Schleswig, will be Saturday, October 28th, from 10am to 1pm at the Westside Community Building. Some activities include: one mile & 5k run/walk, silent auction and raffle, a “light fright” halloween walk for children ages 2-12 and a meal of maidrites, hot dogs and walking tacos as well as soft-serve ice cream.
