Stordahl will delve into how he and his family handled his 14-year-old daughter’s Bipolar Disorder diagnosis and the long road to her eventual independence. His talk covers living with bipolar disorder, coping with the disease, managing your work life and moving passed the stigma surrounding mental health. Mental health did not only affect his daughter. Stordahl was diagnosed with Bipolar-2, a less severe form of the disease while navigating the difficulties of his daughter’s ailment. He chronicled his experience and has transformed it into four books about living and coping with Bipolar Disorder. This presentation is free and open to the public.
